It snowed in Santa Cruz! on the 17!
My housemates have gone for the weekend, and I'm getting lonely. Its weird when you have all these people constantly around you and then all of the sudden, they're gone. Its probably going to be like this in June when we all move out. Sad. I wonder what's next.
First, Byron. I think emotions do override logic, but I don't necessarily think its a bad thing. I mean, some of the greatest things happen when you let your emotions take over any logical part of your brain. Activism, for example, is mostly driven by anger. People are more willing to make changes when they are sad or angry about the current state of things. If you think too hard about certain issues, it can seem too overwhelming to handle, but let outrage or compassion take over and you'll rally people together and make things happen.
I know that long posts with lots of words can get boring, so here are some pictures of what's been going on lately : )
There was this one day in November that was super warm, so Lindsay, Cassidy and I decided to skip class and go to Natural Bridges and watch the sunset.

Lindsay, Liz and I at a Sharks game. We won this one, and lost the next one we went to

Cassidy and I at a friend's birthday party

Liz and Case at the Crepe place when we went to see Cassidy's band play there

Rockstars party. Turns out, we were underdressed for the party, the people there came naked..

My parents came up for the Alumni Luncheon and we did 17-mile drive in Carmel.

That's all I've got for now.
I've decided that I'm going to take more pictures in the future. I think I'm going to want to remember a lot from Santa Cruz and this whole college thing... |
