Hello, I have big floppy ears and I'm so vey cute!

Lindsay and I adopted the sweetest bunny the other day.  She gives you bunny kisses and loves to hop around. She's even potty trained!

Updates...

Hello!  Well, much as happened since my last post.  Spring break, school, graduation celebrations, new apt, new city to name a few.

here are some visuals:
Spring break in Vegas/Orange County with the homies

Giants Game May26, Barry didn't hit 715 that day, but if he did, we definitely would have caught it

Domestic Violence Advocates Farewell.  The experience with the kids I worked with were some of the best times of my life.

Birthday Weekend dinner:

Last day of classes celebratory dinner!

Graduation  ceremony & preparations

One of my favorite people in the whole world at my graduation:

I'm moving out of Santa Cruz at the end of the month to Capitola.  Its exciting and a little scary at the same time.  If you're visiting, you should stop by.  We're walking distance from the beach and wharf.  No decision on whether I'll be moving back down south or not.  But for now, this is good : )

My family's still in town for the day, so gotta get back to hanging out with them! Seeeee ya!

I've had a really rough week...but friday night was crazy.  We had HUGE thunderstorms all night and when we went outside my front yard looked like this:

in santa cruz?! this is crazy, i've never seen anything like it before....so at 1am, liz and i did this:

We had lots of fun hanging out in the freezing storm. Today's high was like 47 degrees, so I'm bundling up and getting all my work done.  Other than that, I can't wait to finish the quarter and have some fun with the housemates in our road trip spring break adventure!

It snowed in Santa Cruz! on the 17!

My housemates have gone for the weekend, and I'm getting lonely.  Its weird when you have all these people constantly around you and then all of the sudden, they're gone.  Its probably going to be like this in June when we all move out. Sad. I wonder what's next.

First, Byron.  I think emotions do override logic, but I don't necessarily think its a bad thing.  I mean, some of the greatest things happen when you let your emotions take over any logical part of your brain.  Activism, for example, is mostly driven by anger.  People are more willing to make changes when they are sad or angry about the current state of things.  If you think too hard about certain issues, it can seem too overwhelming to handle, but let outrage or compassion take over and you'll rally people together and make things happen.

I know that long posts with lots of words can get boring, so here are some pictures of what's been going on lately : )

There was this one day in November that was super warm, so Lindsay, Cassidy and I decided to skip class and go to Natural Bridges and watch the sunset.

Lindsay, Liz and I at a Sharks game. We won this one, and lost the next one we went to

Cassidy and I at a friend's birthday party

Liz and Case at the Crepe place when we went to see Cassidy's band play there

Rockstars party. Turns out, we were underdressed for the party, the people there came naked..

My parents came up for the Alumni Luncheon and we did 17-mile drive in Carmel.

That's all I've got for now.

I've decided that I'm going to take more pictures in the future.  I think I'm going to want to remember a lot from Santa Cruz and this whole college thing...

After a little over a year, I'm going to think about updating this thing again.  Tivian, I JUST saw your last comment yesterday, so here's a little update for you

This last year has been this crazy in good ways and bad.  I feel like I've learned more about myself than anything else.  Its the most exciting thing ever to fantasize about all the possibilites in the future, I'm taking my time in discovering my passions and enjoying the moments with the people around me.  While this makes my parents a little nervous, I can't think of a better way to spend my time.  So with only six months left in Santa Cruz,  I'm now living in a little house with 4 other amazingly cool people.  In the last four months that we've been here, we've dealt with termites, ants, mold, and majorly leaky windows and roof.  We're trying to fill it with as much love as possible to help the house from caving in on us.

Maybe they'll be more to come, but I gotta get back to reading about love for my emotions class for now
